Introduction
Cork County Council are in the early stages of developing a Greenway between Crossbarry, Bandon and Clonakilty with a link to Timoleague. This project, which is funded by Transport Infrastructure Ireland (TII), will provide a Greenway servicing the Bandon, Clonakilty and Timoleague hinterlands. RPS have been appointed by Cork County Council to provide multi-disciplinary consultancy services to progress the project through the design and planning stages, following Phases 1-4 of the TII Project Management Guidelines.
Key Information
The project team would like to extend their thanks to everyone who took part in the first public consultation during May and June 2024 on the West Cork Greenway – Bandon Sections project. Stakeholder participation and feedback has been invaluable to the project.
We are pleased to inform all stakeholders that the insights gathered from the consultation have now been incorporated into a comprehensive report which has now been finalised.
This report outlines key findings and next steps for the project and is now available for viewing on this website under the Publications and Mapping tab. The document is titled ‘Public Consultation No.1 Report’.
The project hopes to conduct another public consultation in early 2025.
